About the Role
As a Cargo Crew team member, you will play a key role in supporting day-today freight operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll assist with the secure handling, movement, and processing of cargo while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
Service Delivery
Perform basic freight handling and operational tasks
Assist in loading, unloading, and movement of freight
Operate non-airside equipment (non-aircraft AAF only)
Support higher-level operators in daily operations
Participate in training and development programs
Use basic communication and computer systems
Standards, Compliance and Safety
Follow all company safety procedures and instructions
Maintain compliance with operational and regulatory requirements
Report hazards and incidents promptly
Work under supervision to ensure secure task completion
Skills and Experience Required
A valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Ability to obtain and hold a valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Ability to obtain and hold a valid Airside Driving Authority (ADA)
Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competent in the operational requirements of Ground Handling (ideal)
Working understanding of the Aviation Industry
Excellent organisation and time management skills to ensure protected and compliant operations with schedule pressures
Robust ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines
