About Us
Penrith Christian School is a well-established and vibrant Christian community, providing an exciting and innovative learning environment for over 800 students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12 in Orchard Hills, at the foot of the Blue Mountains.
Our OSHC program is registered for 100 students per day and operates 48 weeks of the year.
We run before and after school care on site during school terms, and vacation care in the school holidays.

About the Position
We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and team-oriented person to lead our amazing Before/After School Care and Vacation Care team.
The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who is a committed Christian, actively involved in their local church.
This full time role will see you leading our thriving OSHC service for our students on the school grounds.
You will be responsible for:
effectively overseeing, supervising and managing the daily operation of our service
understanding the needs of the children, families and staff
maintaining the required administrative records and ensuring service compliance with both the regulatory standards and policies and procedures of our school
rostering, mentoring and developing your team
having adequate knowledge and understanding of the provision of education and care to children
providing learning experiences and engaging programs for the students




You will be required to work split shifts during school terms and block shifts during vacation care and pupil free days.
About You
Along with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or a Bachelor Degree in Education, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
experience in a similar leadership role within OSHC
a thorough knowledge of the regulatory requirements, including compliance and operations for OSHC services through the Department of Education
successful leadership and management of a team
collaborative, innovative and effective practice
highly relational interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents
excellent oral and written communication skills
fun and positive attitude
excellent ICT skills across a range of platforms
current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
national criminal history check (or willingness to obtain)
Child Protection Certificates
current Working With Children Check
You will be commencing with us on 20 January ****.
An induction process will be included prior to starting.
