The Opportunity
We are seeking an experiencedRecruitment Consultant or Senior Recruiterto join our growing government and labour hire team.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will manage recruitment assignments across ACT Government, NSW Government, local council and private sector clients.
We welcome applicants with experience in either white-collar or blue-collar recruitment, or a combination of both.
The portfolio can be aligned with your existing strengths while providing opportunities to broaden your recruitment experience.
You will receive dedicated support from a Recruitment Support Coordinator covering onboarding, compliance, reference checks, pre-employment checks, timesheets and contractor administration.
This allows you to focus on candidate sourcing, recruitment delivery, client relationships and growing an active contractor workforce.
Experience working with theNSW Government SCM**** Contingent Workforce Schemeis essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage white-collar and/or blue-collar recruitment assignments across ACT Government, NSW Government, local council and private sector clients
Deliver recruitment services across relevant SCM**** categories
Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to manage job orders and delivery priorities
Source, screen and interview candidates for temporary,
contract and permanent opportunities
Prepare accurate and compliant candidate submissions within government panel deadlines
Write clear candidate summaries addressing role requirements and selection criteria
Develop talent pools for recurring, regional, high-volume and difficult-to-fill vacancies
Build strong relationships with candidates, contractors, hiring managers and procurement stakeholders
Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
Coordinate with the Recruitment Support Coordinator on onboarding, compliance and workforce mobilisation
Maintain regular contact with contractors and support assignment extensions and redeployment
Advertise vacancies and proactively source candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, referrals and industry networks
Contribute to contractor growth, client delivery and gross profit targets
Support workforce planning, recruitment campaigns and tender requirements when needed

Essential Requirements
Great work ethic, do the right thing, no shortcuts (we are not looking for shark recruiters or cowboy style)
Previous recruitment experience in either white-collar or blue-collar recruitment, or both
Demonstrated recent experience (within 12 months) working with theNSW Government SCM**** Contingent Workforce Scheme
Solid understanding of government candidate submission processes and panel deadlines
Experience delivering temporary, contract or labour hire recruitment
Strong candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing skills
Ability to prepare accurate and persuasive candidate submissions
Strong candidate care and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple urgent vacancies in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Commercial focus with the ability to meet recruitment and contractor growth targets
Australian working rights
Highly Regarded
Experience across multiple SCM**** categories
Existing relationships with ACT Government, NSW Government agencies or local councils
Experience recruiting for regional or difficult-to-fill vacancies
Experience using Beeline, Fieldglass, C.NET or similar systems
Knowledge of government procurement and contingent workforce processes
Experience managing high-volume recruitment campaigns
Business development or client account growth experience
