Our client is a global express and parcel delivery leader, operating one of the largest cross-border networks in the world alongside a thriving e-commerce delivery business. They are expanding rapidly across Australia and investing heavily in their local network.
About the Prospect
Reporting to the HR Director and working within a team-oriented four-person HR team, you will own employee relations across the national business. This is a hands-on role where you will be the trusted first point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring the organisation scales compliantly and confidently under the Fair Work Act.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle employee relations nationally, covering performance management, disciplinary processes, grievance handling and exits, with thorough documentation and Fair Work compliance throughout
Manage consultation and dispute resolution,
addressing issues early to minimise escalation and IR risk
Advise and coach managers on ER matters, building their confidence and capability to handle people issues effectively
Keep HR policies current and audit-ready, aligned with the Fair Work Act and applicable modern awards
Support WHS awareness across warehouse, sorting and field delivery settings, contributing to incident reporting and safety inductions as a secondary responsibility
About You
3+ years of HR experience in Australia with a strong focus on employee relations
Solid working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, modern awards and dispute resolution, with hands-on experience managing ER cases independently
Professional fluency in Mandarin and English. This role supports a predominantly Mandarin-speaking workforce and liaises daily with the regional team, so bilingual capability is essential to the position
Background in logistics, warehousing, supply chain or a similarly fast-paced operational environment is highly regarded
Tertiary qualification in HR, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
