Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their team working on a range of projects in a non-traditional role in the healthcare industry.
About the role
Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse healthcare data.
Develop and maintain actuarial models to assess healthcare risk, cost projections, and profitability.
Transform raw data into actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders.
Assist in the design, implementation, and management of actuarial reports, dashboards, and tools.
Contribute to the development of pricing strategies for health insurance products and services.
Participate in actuarial and financial audits.
About you




AIAA or newly qualified FIAA.
2-5 years of actuarial experience with health insurance/healthcare experienceessential.
Excellent communication skills and able to work independently.
Solid proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Interested in applying the actuarial skillset to non-traditional areas of actuarial including data analytics, and app development.
Location – preference is for Sydney but open to other locations within Australia.
