As a qualified Casual Educator with a Certificate III / Casual Senior Educator with a Diploma, you'll work within a small team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN's high-quality educational program, which follows children's interests, creates a safe and trusting environment and works in partnership with families. At SDN Gold Creek, Nicholls, we support families to feel confident, capable and connected and we are proud to create a community of families who also advocate for us.
About the team
SDN Gold Creek, Nicholls is a modern, vast and purpose-built centre, conveniently located for families and educators within the Federation Square precinct.
We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, offering a nurturing and welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing, learning, and development for over 98 children.
About the role
In this role,



you will:
Collaborate with children to follow their interests and create engaging learning experiences
Support children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs
Observe, document, and evaluate children's learning and development
Create environments that promote trust, security, flexible routines, and smooth transitions
Contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive team culture
About You
You will bring:
Experience in a similar early childhood education role
A Certificate III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
A genuine interest in diversity, inclusion, and inclusive practice
A valid Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid
Sound understanding of children's development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
