The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work across the lifespan in a mental health setting, providing therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for clients across the lifespan
Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions within a multidisciplinary team
Conduct therapy sessions in clinic, home, community, and school settings
Collaborate with psychologists,
social workers, and other healthcare professionals
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
Participate in team meetings and career development activities
Service Delivery Locations:
Clinic-based therapy at our modern Nundah facility
Home visits for clients requiring in-home support
Community-based interventions
School-based services
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Willingness to travel to provide services in home, community, and school settings
Passion for mental health and working across the lifespan
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience Level:
All experience levels welcome - from new graduates to experienced practitioners
We provide comprehensive support and mentorship for professional development
Highly Desirable:
Better Access to Mental Health accreditation (or willingness to obtain with our support)
Experience in mental health settings
Knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions
Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
