Reporting to theHead of Customer & Marketing, this is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing MyState's brand and strategic marketing agenda.
You'll lead a talented team and play a critical role in ensuring our brand is embedded across customer experiences, business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
What you'll do
As our Senior Leader, Brand & Strategic Marketing, you will:
Lead Brand Strategy
Develop and evolve MyState's brand strategy to support growth and long-term differentiation.
Act as the guardian of the MyState brand across all customer touchpoints.
Lead brand positioning, messaging, architecture and identity.
Ensure brand investment delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
Drive Strategic Campaigns
Create and deliver integrated brand campaigns that increase awareness, consideration and customer acquisition.
Lead agency partnerships and campaign execution.
Optimise media investment and campaign effectiveness through data-driven decisions.
Elevate Content & Social Media
Lead social media strategy,



governance and performance.
Develop an integrated content strategy that supports customer engagement and business priorities.
Ensure all content reflects customer needs and MyState's brand voice.
Leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and productivity.
Build Meaningful Partnerships
Develop and manage sponsorship and partnership strategies aligned to brand objectives.
Evaluate new opportunities and maximise commercial and brand value from investments.
Measure effectiveness and ROI across sponsorship activity.
Deliver Customer & Market Insights
Lead brand tracking, customer research and market insight programs.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
Monitor competitor activity and emerging market trends.
Report on brand health and growth opportunities to executive stakeholders.
Contribute as a Strategic Leader
Influence organisation-wide initiatives and strategic decisions.
Partner across marketing, product, digital and customer teams to ensure a consistent customer experience.
Contribute to transformation programs and growth initiatives as a key member of the Customer & Marketing leadership team.
Lead and Inspire People
Build, coach and develop a high-performing team.

About You
You'll be an accomplished marketing and brand leader with a proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes through strategy, innovation and customer-focused thinking.
You'll bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline.
Extensive experience leading brand and strategic marketing functions.
Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide brand strategies.
Solid commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing activity to business performance.
Experience leading integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
Deep understanding of customer insights, brand health measurement and market research.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with executive leaders.
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
A growth mindset and passion for innovation, digital transformation and continuous improvement.
