Join the Foundation Team - Help Build a New School Environment We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities to play a key role in establishing and maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-quality school environment.
This is a unique opportunity to join a foundation team and help shape the physical spaces of a brand-new special school from day one.
✨ About The School The New State Special School at Logan Reserve is a modern, purpose-built school committed to providing high-quality, inclusive education for students with disability, co-located with the New Secondary School, Logan Reserve.
You will play an significant role in establishing a safe, welcoming and well-maintained learning environment that supports every student's learning, wellbeing and belonging from the school's very first day.
? About The Role Reporting to the Business Manager and working collaboratively across the co-located campus, you will support the upkeep, presentation, and functionality of school grounds and facilities.
Your work will ensure that staff, students, and the community experience a clean, safe, and engaging environment every day.
? Key Responsibilities Maintain school grounds, including gardens, outdoor areas, and general landscapingSupport the care, maintenance, and minor repairs of school facilities and equipmentEnsure a clean, safe, and well-presented environment across the campusAssist with setup and pack-down for school activities and eventsIdentify and report maintenance needs and safety concerns Please refer to the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.
