Property caretaker/ Handy person, Permanent part-time (5 days a fortnight)
This role is permanent part-time, work with us for 5 days a fortnight (2 weeks): 2 days one week and 3 days the alternate week, starting at 7:30am, finishing at 3:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
You will be servicing the exterior of the a large residential property, ensuring it is well maintained and continuously checked. Someone who works well by themselves unsupervised but also in our small team, someone who is determined to complete tasks.
It is very 'hands on' and you will undertake 'general maintenance' such as sweeping/ blowing pathways, cleaning windows, washing cars, emptying rubbish bins and cleaning surfaces.
Occasionally undertake 'deep cleaning' of areas, which includes basic cleaning duties, by using a water pressure cleaner to clean hard surfaces, unblocking drains, de-cobwebbing awnings, clearing gutters etc- a person not afraid to get their 'hands dirty'!




You will assist the full-time Caretaker and complete our routine preventative maintenance plan.
A very good level of English is required.
We are looking for a candidate that has a positive attitude, an eye for detail and who takes great pride in their work. It can be a monotonous role and will suite some who enjoys seeing the "before" and the "after" of their jobs and takes great pride in their work.
Someone one who has a valuable understanding of Work Health Safety or a trade will be an advantage.
This role can be physically demanding and requires a person who is aware of this.
A valid drivers licence is a benefit.
We will undertake a National Police check , Working With Children check and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
