About the Position
As the
Lecturer in Accounting and Business Law
your purpose is to build the teaching profile and enhance the research performance within the Faculty. You will be involved in independent teaching, delivering quality education in accordance with academic policies and discipline‐specific professional standards as well as being actively involved in research and undertaking relevant administrative duties.
The contribution to teaching will be primarily at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level in Higher Education Units. The appointee will engage in independent scholarship and professional activities appropriate to the profession or discipline. You may be required to perform the full academic responsibilities of, and related administration for, the co‐ordination of an award program of the University.
Selection Criteria
To be successful, you will require:
PhD in Accounting or Business Law
Outstanding record of higher education teaching, curriculum development, and delivery in Accounting and Business Law subjects.
Demonstrated understanding of the principles in working in Higher Education, enabling and equity programs, providing supportive education to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and varying age groups.
A demonstrated capacity and commitment to undertake research, including a track record of referred publications and HDR supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and consultatively as a member of a team.
Excellent professional teamwork and communication skills, including oral, written, information communication technology (ICT) and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level B.



The base salary will be in the range of $116,****** - $137,****** per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $136,****** - $161,****** per annum, including 17% superannuation.
