We are preparing to reopen Greencross Riverway, our purpose-built veterinary clinic located near the banks of the Ross River in Townsville.

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager or senior veterinary nurse ready to step into leadership and help shape the clinic's next chapter.

/n

This is not simply an opportunity to manage an existing team. You will play an important part in building the team, establishing how the clinic operates and creating a workplace where people feel supported, capable and proud of what they achieve together.

Leadership experience or your next step

/n

You may already be managing a veterinary practice and be excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up.

/n

Alternatively, you may be an experienced senior veterinary nurse who is ready to move into practice management with support, development and an established network around you.

/n

What matters most is your ability to bring people together, create structure and help build a positive clinic culture.

/n

The clinic is ready. Now we are building the team.

/n

Riverway is purpose-built for quality veterinary care, with dedicated consulting and treatment spaces and specialised facilities, including radioactive iodine treatment capabilities.

/n

You will be supported by an experienced Area Manager, a Regional Clinical Director and our wider network of Townsville clinics. During the lead-up to reopening, you will have the opportunity to work within the local network,



build relationships and contribute to the planning and development of Riverway.

What you will help shape

/n

Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to:

/n

- Help establish the clinic's day-to-day operations and ways of working

/n

- Support the recruitment and onboarding of the Riverway team

/n

- Create a welcoming and collaborative workplace culture

/n

- Lead, mentor and develop veterinary nurses

/n

- Work closely with the clinic's veterinary leader

/n

- Establish productive rosters, workflows and operational processes

/n

- Support a consistently positive client and patient experience

/n

- Build strong connections with the wider Townsville network and community

/n/n

A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is highly regarded for nursing applicants, alongside previous leadership, coordination or mentoring experience.
