ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Import Operator, working within a vibrant and supportive culture, the right candidate will be responsible for handlingall aspects of import sea and air freight operations.
DUTIES
- Coordinate and process import air and sea freight shipments, including bookings, registrations, and delivery arrangements.
- Liaise with shipping lines, service providers, and shared services teams to ensure timely processing of invoices, delivery orders, and cargo reports.
- Manage shipment documentation, pre-alerts, Sea Cargo Automation, transhipment updates, and maintain accurate operational records.
- Updating status reports to ensure client visibility
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Exposure to freight forwarding (Import Operations) preferred
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Exposure to CW1 a bonus
- A proactive,
focused mind with the drive to succeed
