As our client base continues to scale, we’re seeking additional support in our operations team to maintain oversight, efficiency, and risk controls in a dynamic workplace.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Investment Operations Lead to support the day-to-day running of our Investment Operations function.

You will take ownership of key operational workflows across the full investment lifecycle, helping ensure transactions are settled accurately, efficiently and on time.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and driving continuous improvement. While not a formal people management position, you'll play a lead role in supporting the wider operations team, leading initiatives and acting as a senior point of contact for complex operational matters.

As the business continues to grow, you'll help build scalable processes and contribute to projects that improve the efficiency, controls and client experience of our operations function.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the end‑to‑end investment operations lifecycle, including adviser and investor onboarding, trade execution, settlement, payments and ongoing investment administration.




- Support the day‑to‑day running of the Investment Operations function, ensuring operational activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed service levels.
- Act as a senior point of contact for complex operational matters, working closely with advisers, custodians, issuers, platform partners and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key strategic partners, including platform providers, custodians and service providers, to support efficient operations and continuous service improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, leverage automation and AI tools where appropriate, and drive efficiencies that enhance the client and adviser experience.
- Provide guidance and support to the wider Investment Operations team, assisting with onboarding, training and day‑to‑day workflow prioritisation.
- Support operational reporting, reconciliations, audits and risk management activities, while proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen controls.

About You – Skills & Experience

- 5+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally with 3+ years experience in a fund administration, back/middle office or custody.
- Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end investment lifecycle.
- Experience improving operational processes, driving efficiencies and embracing technology, automation and AI tools to streamline workflows.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to solve problems and make decisions within agreed frameworks.
