This is a full‑time, office‑based role, Monday to Friday. You will coordinate workers' compensation claims across our network of centres, partnering with operational leaders, Marsh and external providers to deliver positive outcomes for both our employees and the business.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating the full workers' compensation and injury management process from the initial notification of an injury through to a successful return to work. You will work closely with Centre Directors, Area Managers, Marsh, injured employees and medical professionals, ensuring claims are managed efficiently while providing exceptional support throughout the employee's recovery.

- Coordinate workers' compensation claims from injury notification through to claim closure.
- Act as the primary liaison between Little Zak's Academy and Marsh to ensure claims progress efficiently.
- Work closely with Centre Directors and operational leaders to support injured employees throughout the claims process.
- Coordinate suitable duties and return to work plans in consultation with employees, managers and treating practitioners.
- Monitor claim progress and follow up outstanding actions to minimise delays.
- Ensure all incident reports, claim documentation and medical certificates are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Maintain regular communication with injured employees to support their recovery and return to work.
- Liaise with rehabilitation providers, medical professionals and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of workers' compensation claims and injury management activities.
- Prepare reports on claim status, injury trends, return to work outcomes and key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities to improve injury management processes and reduce claim duration.




- Provide guidance and support to leaders on workers' compensation and injury management processes.
- Ensure compliance with NSW workers' compensation legislation, company policies and return to work obligations.

About you

- Previous experience in workers' compensation, injury management, return to work, HR, WHS or insurance claims.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate confidential records.
- Experience working with insurers, brokers or claims administrators.
- Experience working with Marsh will be highly regarded.
- Sound problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
- Knowledge of NSW workers' compensation legislation and return to work practices is highly desirable.
- Return to Work Coordinator certification is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
