Job Type: Contract Position (full‑time, 38 hours per week).
Salary: $124,274 – $128,302 per year (plus 12% superannuation, salary packaging).
Overview
Shape the future of nursing practice in a brand‑new Acute Medicine‑Renal inpatient unit. Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care while leading education, coaching and mentorship initiatives that advance nursing capability and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and evaluate education programmes that enhance clinical practice and qualified growth.
- Identify learning needs and implement evidence‑based education strategies to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and support to nurses at all career stages.
- Champion evidence‑based practice, clinical standards and continuous quality improvement across the unit.
- Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive learning culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse (current Authority to Practice with AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in acute medical and/or renal nursing.
- Post‑graduate qualification in clinical nursing, education or a relevant field (preferred).
- Strong ability to design, deliver and evaluate education initiatives.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and communication skills.

Essential Requirements
- Current influenza vaccination mandatory.
