Exciting opportunities exist for passionate, caring, and qualified Health Assistants (Nursing) to join our dynamic team at St Vincent’s Hospital. You will work as part of a wider ward team, under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or equivalent, and will make a positive contribution to patient care through assistance and support to our Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to positive patient outcomes by ensuring all elements of delegated work are completed accurately and in accordance with St Vincent’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in delegated aspects of patient care, including personal hygiene, nutritional needs, mobility, transfers, positioning within the ward, and elimination needs.
- Ensure patient privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III Health Assistant (Nursing).
- Previous experience as a Health Assistant is desirable.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to meet mandatory immunisation/vaccination requirements, including flu vaccinations and COVID‑19 vaccination as per Victorian government direction.

Additional Information
Night‑shift only, minimum of 3 shifts per fortnight. Location: Kew, Melbourne.
