Harbour Rocks Hotel is entering a bold recent chapter! Our heritage-listed boutique hotel in the heart of The Rocks has been thoughtfully reimagined through a full refurbishment blending historic character with elevated comfort, warm design, and a more refined guest experience throughout.

About the Role

We are looking for aPart-time CDP to join the team to relaunch Tayim, Harbour Rocks Hotel's signature restaurant, where modern Levantine cuisine takes centre stage. You will support the kitchen with services across Tayim and food offerings for Eric’s Bar, in-room dining and hotel events.

What you’ll do

- Produce consistently high-quality dishes with exceptional attention to detail, even under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Lead your section confidently, support the Head Chef, and coach junior chefs by example
- Keep your section organised, service-ready and compliant with food safety and cleanliness standards
- Build strong relationships and communicate clearly across kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Take full ownership of your section,



always looking for ways to improve quality and efficiency
- Grow your skills and help shape Tayim’s next chapter alongside the Head Chef

What you’ll bring

- 2+ years’ worth of experienceinhotels, restaurants,orbistrosat a similar level
- Experience across different sections including pans,grilland larder.
- Genuine passion for Levantine cuisine — bold flavours, quality ingredients and thoughtful creativity with seasonal Australian produce
- Ability to train, guideand mentor junior staff.
- An eye for detail andmaintainingproduct consistency and quality.
- Strong communicationskills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail, well-presented andhigh standardsof cleanliness.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure,while still delivering a high standard.
