Physiotherapy Front Desk Reception, Allied Health Assistant / Clinical Pilates and Strength Instructor

Part time position: 28+ hours/week

We are looking for a dynamic and detail focused person who has a strong interest in the health, fitness, and performance of people.

As the first point of contact for our business, you will place customer needs foremost with a qualified and friendly manner. You should possess excellent communication skills and time management along with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your tasks, work schedule and developing role.

Being an integral member of our Physiotherapy team, you would be responsible for a highly varied role including;

- Greeting clients, being the first impression of our business
- answering incoming calls
- Electronic practice management system, diary and client appointment bookings, patient invoicing, HICAPS and EFTPOS payments.
- Basic Xero accounting and bookkeeping
- liaison with Physiotherapists, Doctor’s and Surgeon’s
- correspondence for Physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation
- letter and document typing, including management plans for injury recovery.
- Responsible for practice supplies & rehabilitation equipment
- You would require computer skills including; word, excel,



power point
- Knowledge of Apple Mac and ipad would be beneficial

Our Clinical Pilates reformer and Strength is group format of 4 people, plus individual rehabilitation sessions. Our focus in on the restoring of movement following injury, then strength and the return to performance. The Principal Physiotherapist has instructed classes for 23 years and will mentor and develop your skill and knowledge,

You will be working with the principal Physiotherapist on various projects aimed at business development, focusing on improving clients’ recovery from injury and their long-term health. We will be refreshing our social media program.

There is the opportunity for ongoing education and training with further development of your role in our business. We will undertake Allied Health Assistant training with you.
