Lead Educator Perm Part Time, 4 days p/wk-term time up to 37 hrs p/w - 3-5's grp

We are seeking a permanent part time lead educator (4 days per week during term times) up to 37 hours per week in our 3-5's group

We're a 60-place term time Community Child Care Centre with a single Kindergarten unit in Clayfield. We provide care during school term times from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and provide vacation care during the Easter, June/July, and September school term breaks.

We enjoy a long tradition of providing quality early childhood education and have an exceeding rating from ACECQA.

On-call and vacation care shifts are also available to the successful applicant.

We're looking for someone who:

- Enjoys variety and all ages
- Has experience with children of all ages
- Has minimum 2 years experience working with children aged 0-5 years, including documented experience in planning and implementing educational programs
- Is passionate about education




- Has a relevant qualification (Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent)
- Must hold a minimum Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Must have current Blue Card and Working With Children Check before start date. Child Protection Certificate and ACECQA recognised first-aid qualification must be obtained within 4 weeks of employment
- Blue Card and Working With Children Check must be obtained before submitting application
- Current certifications in CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management (or willing to obtain within 4 weeks)

Candidates must have permanent Australian work rights or appropriate visa to be considered.
