Our client is a well-regarded institutional financial services firm based in Sydney, seeking a Senior FICC Middle Office Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a broad operations and compliance-focused role , supporting fixed income and money market activity, client onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, settlements, and operational enhancements.

As a core member of the team, you’ll gain direct exposure to senior leadership and high-value institutional clients across the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the firm’s AML/CTF Compliance Officer , ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations




- Manage KYC onboarding workflows and Salesforce data management
- Liaise with partner banks, custodians, and ADIs to ensure accurate trade settlement
- Oversee Austraclear settlements , reconciliations, and documentation control
- Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives across middle office operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 5+ years’ experience in FICC , Fixed Income , or Money Market middle office or onboarding roles
- Robust understanding of institutional onboarding frameworks, AML/CTF/KYC regulations
- Familiarity with Austraclear , custodians, and bond settlements
- Experience with systems such as ALERT , CTM , Salesforce , and ideally OMGEO/DTCC
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and counterparties
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Law (preferred)
