Fluren is a well-established family-owned company providing Earthmoving and Land Management services in the Hunter and surrounds for the past 38 years.

We currently have a position available for an experienced Plant / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for work in the Newcastle / Hunter Valley areas

This position is workshop and field based and requires a person that is self motivated and takes pride in their workmanship.

The plant and equipment is late model and is predominately CAT, MACK & John Deere machinery.

If successful, you will not only be joining a quality skilled team, you will also be rewarded with above average pay rates, work Monday to Friday dayshift and have the security of being employed in a long-term role.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine servicing on mobile earthmoving machinery, Heavy & Light vehicles& identifying potential issues and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Conduct breakdown repairs, diagnose faults, and provide detailed repair requirements on Plant,



Heavy vehicles & Light vehicles.
- Effective coordination and management of workshop and Trades Assistant
- Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate
- Automotive Electrical experience
- LV Mechanic Trade Certificate
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In depth knowledge and diagnostic experience of CAT equipment and experience in SIS software
- White Card
- Excellent attitude to your work

- Strong commitment to safety
- Certificate of Proficiency - IV Engineering
- Automotive Air Conditioning Licence
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Working at Heights Certificate

Remuneration

- Shifts - Monday to Friday day work (flexibility with days)
- Company Vehicle + fuel card + laptop provided
