Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $73,222 to $90,332 p.a. (HBEA10 - HBEA6)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- District, Tool and Skills Infrastructure Delivery and Maintenance allowances
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Join the Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services Mechanical Trade Team maintaining the infrastructure that supports healthcare across Townsville Hospital and Health Service. As an Engineering Tradesperson - Mechanical (Fitter and Turner), you'll undertake mechanical fitting and turning work, maintenance and repairs to buildings, plant and equipment, delivering cost-effective engineering services. You'll contribute to maintenance projects and support the operation of hospital facilities across Townsville HHS, including rural and regional sites as required.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Fitting and Turning Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
- Posession of a Class C driver's license
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
