Qualifications & Experience
You must have:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating MC or HC vehicles
- Competency driving an 18-speed Road Ranger
- Truck & Dog experience (highly regarded)
- Construction Induction Card (White/Blue) or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of road rules, site compliance and WHS
- Demonstrated safe loading and unloading practices
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Australian work rights
- Contactable references
Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for delivering secure, reliable service to our customers.
Duties include:
- Operating safely and in compliance with all road and site rules
- Competently reversing truck and dog into bins at concrete plants, landscape yards and civil sites (Training provided for experienced MC/HC drivers new to truck & quad combinations)
- Completing daily pre-starts and reporting faults
- Recording fuel usage and completing electronic delivery dockets
- Maintaining truck cleanliness and presentation
- Identifying basic maintenance issues and communicating effectively
