We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Food Preparation Assistant to support our Food Production Kitchen in the preparation and manufacturing of high quality products ready for retail in our store.
ThisFull Time role requires week day availability andis not suitable for junior applicants still at school/university.
- Assembling and preparing ingredients, including knife skills, food packaging equipment, wrapping and labelling
- To ensure that all food is labelled, weighted and dated correctly with stock rotated accordingly
- Experience operating food manufacturing machinery is essential
- Assisting with the day to day operations within a department setting, ensuring an efficient workflow is maintained
- Keep a clean and organised workspace whilst adhering to our OHS and Food Safety guidelines
- Complete required tasks in a timely and effective manner and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Assist the Department Manager with stock management, including but not limited to stock packaging, rotation, stocktaking, and inventory

- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous for success
- Demonstrates integrity, honesty, teamwork and genuine concern for others
- Work effectively with other departments to ensure our customers have access to the best of the best and keep coming back for more
- Must be able to prioritise your day-to-day work, show initiative and enthusiasm
- Have great problem solving skills and be able think outside the box
