Supervisor – Homes NSW Maintenance Contract | Wollongong Region

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead the day-to-day delivery of works under our Homes NSW contract in the Wollongong region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll supervise our trades team, ensure work meets contract standards and time frames, and act as the key on-the-ground link between our business, our client, and the tenants we serve.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate our trades team delivering responsive and programmed maintenance works
- Ensure works meet the quality, compliance and time frame requirements of the Homes NSW contract
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits, identifying and resolving non-conforming work
- Manage work orders, scheduling and job allocation across the region
- Liaise professionally with tenants, ensuring a respectful and tenant-focused approach to service delivery
- Maintain accurate records for reporting, compliance and contract performance
- Support WHS compliance across all sites, including risk assessments and hazard identification




- Build solid working relationships with our client's contract management team

About You

- Trade qualification in building, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or a related field (highly regarded)
- Proven experience supervising maintenance or construction works, ideally in social/public housing or a similar contract environment
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and compliance obligations
- Confident managing trades teams and competing priorities across multiple sites
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with tenants, trades and client stakeholders alike
- Current NSW driver's licence
- A genuine interest in making a difference in the community you work in
