SDN Marrickville Preschool is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher, responsible for 3–5-year-old room. The role requires passion for quality education, child safety and a great team player on a permanent part-time basis.
About The Role
This will include:
- Leading the nominated room
- Overseeing program delivery, team leadership, and safety
- Monitor daily operations while delivering high- quality inclusive learning experiences aligned with SDN values and philosophy to achieve positive outcomes for all children.
About You
You will have experience and skills in the following:
- University qualifications in Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA
- Excellent understanding of current early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework, and naturalistic, responsive early childhood intervention practices
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the implications for centres
- Working with Children Check (NSW) and Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging early learning experiences
- Child protection training and commitment to child safety
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
