About the role
We are seeking switched-on and professional Security Officers to join the security team at a leading Australian university located in Sydney's CBD. This is a full-time patrolling role , ideal for candidates who enjoy being active on shift and engaging with people in a customer-focused environment.
This role operates Monday to Friday only , offering excellent work-life balance within a skilled campus setting.
The position is paid at $29.73 per hour plus superannuation and applicable shift loadings . Shifts will be rostered between 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm .

Key responsibilities

- Conduct foot and mobile patrols across campus facilities
- Maintain a visible security presence and provide customer service support
- Respond to incidents, alarms and requests for assistance
- Enforce site policies and safety procedures
- Liaise with students, staff,



visitors and contractors
- Complete accurate incident reports and shift documentation
- Current NSW security licence
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
- Previous experience in a security role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
