We are inviting applications to join our award-winning team as Housekeeping Supervisor (Full time)

The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will provide day to day experienced leadership of operations of an assigned area of guest room floors. You will ensure the highest standards of hotel presentation and cleanliness are consistently met, guaranteeing a luxury InterContinental experience to all guests - No detail is too small, and no request is too large.

You will be partnering with our external housekeeping team, ensuring they have the tools, resources and feedback needed to achieve our IHG Way of Clean standards, together with maintaining the very highest presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces.

Your Day to Day

- Provide constructive feedback and training to colleagues as required.
- Conduct training and re-training of front line colleagues as required.
- Ensure that colleagues are trained and follow fire, emergency evacuation procedures and security procedures.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Generate and follows up on Maintenance Work Orders.
- Ensure that all communication with the Housekeeping team is conducted in a clear, polite and in a professional manner.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and/or designated areas, including floor corridors
- Ensure that all designated areas (service areas/pantries/guest corridors) are clean, tidy and in working order at the end of shift.
- Provide support to front line colleagues so they can deliver the highest level of guest service possible.
- Ensure that IHG and Hotel standards are maintained at all times.




- Ensure colleagues are trained in and follow safe work practices, with particular regard to manual handling, chemicals, blood and body fluid precautions, and machine/equipment operation.
