Position of Middle Leadership (English)

This role holds a Full-Time Permanent Teaching Position

Contract Dates: 16 January 2027 to 11 January 2030

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent teaching appointment with a three-year fixed-term Middle Leader appointment, which may be renewed following successful review and appraisal.

Hours: As per the Agreement

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience:

- Graduate $86,600 - Proficient 4 $107,988 FTE Gross per annum, plus Middle Leader Tier 2 allowance $13,026 gross per annum
- OR Proficient 5 and above: $137,750 FTE Gross per annum

About The Role

The role of the Learning Leader – English is to support the mission of the school through leadership of the learning and teaching program of English. This involves collaborating with teaching staff to develop appropriate curriculum in line with national,



state and local requirements; ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels; ensuring the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision and guidance; utilising thorough analysis of current data to inform decisions; developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school; and prudently administering available resources.

It also involves working collaboratively with key staff, particularly the Wellbeing Leaders to manage student engagement in all areas of college life.

Work Requirements

- Be registered or eligible to be register with Queensland College of Teachers
- Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
