BlackWidow Australia Pty Ltd is a growing commercial glazing company specialising in shopfronts, curtain walling, aluminium systems and large-format glass installations throughout Sydney.
We are seeking an experienced Subcontract Site Foreman to join our team on an ongoing basis.
Rate: $70 per hour + GST , depending on experience.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position for someone who is confident leading an installation crew while working on the tools.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Measuring commercial shopfronts and glazing installations.
- Leading and supervising installation crews on site.
- Installing commercial aluminium framing, shopfronts and large-format glass.
- Organising daily site activities and allocating work to installers.
- Reading construction drawings and setting out works.
- Maintaining a secure, clean and productive work site.
- Liaising with the office regarding labour and material requirements.
- Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard.
About You
You will have:
- Extensive experience in commercial glazing and aluminium installation.
- Previous experience leading site crews.
- The ability to accurately measure and set out shopfronts.
- Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A White Card.
- ABN and appropriate insurances.
