About the role:

- Drive healthier pregnancy outcomes by providing advanced clinical expertise and supporting improvements that strengthen antenatal care, early intervention and long-term health for women and children.
- Improve access to preventative and supportive care by developing systems that promote earlier antenatal engagement, effective screening, risk identification and clear referral pathways for women requiring additional support.
- Strengthen maternity services across Queensland by working with clinicians, health services and key stakeholders to embed sustainable improvements in preventive health practices and models of care.
- Support vulnerable women and families by enhancing pathways for women experiencing health risks, chronic conditions, or needing additional support, including smoking and vaping cessation initiatives.

About you:





- Current Midwifery registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Bachelor or Diploma of Midwifery is mandatory.
- Endorsement for scheduled medicines for midwives with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia or relevant post graduate qualifications are highly desirable.
- Demonstrates specialised knowledge and skills in complex, contemporary Midwifery practice, working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to promote and enhance safe delivery of care.
- Advanced level skills in developing and implementing policies, clinical pathways of care, referral processes and collaborative case management and continuity of care principles.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $173,368 p.a. is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $70.58 - $76.63 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
