ACE Rental is seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team based in Yatala, servicing Southeast Queensland.

About ACE Rental
With over 20 years of industry experience, ACE Rental operates a fleet of more than 200 low-hour machines servicing Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. We specialise in operated and self-operated hire equipment and are committed to maintaining high equipment uptime and reliability for our clients.
The Role
This is a mobile field service position responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet across SEQ.
You will be provided with:
- Fully equipped service truck
- Laptop
- Overtime opportunities
Key responsibilities include:
- On-site diagnostics,
servicing and breakdown repairs
- Preventative maintenance of earthmoving and construction equipment
- Fault finding and repairs on excavators, loaders, rollers and related plant
- Supporting customers with prompt and professional serviceMaintaining accurate service records
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a Field Service role
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with Hitachi, Caterpillar or John Deere highly regarded
- Experience with truck and trailer servicing advantageous
- White Card
- Full Australian working rights
- Robust work ethic and professional attitude
