The Role An opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer - Reliever (Mental Health and Specialist Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern Recent South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Provide efficient administrative, general reception and / or secretarial support
- Provide effective and co-operative communications by responding appropriately to customer enquiries
- Open, sort and distribute internal and external mail and letters
- Admit, discharge and transfer patients or consumers to and from the unit

About you To be successful in this position you will require:

- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
- While no mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded

Salary

- Permanent part time (38 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $40.17 - $44.67 per hour

About Us Mental Health and Specialist Services (MHSS)



provide integrated hospital and community specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented.

As a condition of employment, this role is based on a 5-day fortnight, working day shifts with the rostered days to be negotiated. The position will provide relief coverage across all roles within Mental Health and Specialist Services as required.
