Handyman / Maintenance Person - Cleveland Manor

Part time20 hours per week across Monday to Friday – 15 hours maintenance and 5 hours driving the bus

We are looking for an experienced Handyman/Maintenance Person to join our welcoming and friendly team on a Part time basis. Located at our Cleveland Manor Retirement Village, this role will allow you to utilise your knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

This role is integral in ensuring that our residents are at the centre of everything we do, by ensuring exceptional professional and respectful service to those who call our beautiful village home.

The position

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Maintaining buildings, plant, equipment, gardens and grounds
- Attending to all reactive and preventative maintenance across the village
- Coordinating trades and services to ensure repairs occur in a timely manner
- Monitoring pest control
- Cleaning of the outside facilities
- Following all Workplace, Health and Safety standards and reporting any safety or security concerns
- Transporting residents to the shops

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

- General all round handyman / maintenance experience
- Full Open Drivers Licence
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate(or ability to obtain)
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
