Through ourFlying Doctor Patient Transport,we providenon‑emergencypatient transport in Victoria and Recent South Wales, supporting patients with safe, compassionate care as they travel between home,hospitalsand specialist clinics - on the ground and in the air.

About the role

Flying Doctor Patient Transport isseekingmotivated and caring Patient Transport Officers to join our Bankstown team. Thisfull-time roleoffers flexibility, structured training, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive environment -without the pressures of emergency response work.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
- Deliver safe, compassionate care aligned with RFDS clinical guidelines and NEPT regulations




- Monitor patients and evaluate responses to treatmenten‑route
- Work collaboratively with a partner clinician in ateam‑basedmodel

Qualifications and experience required:

- A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient care, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent. Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic) students may apply on completion of second year subject units
- Experience working in the NEPT sector in an equal role desirable but not essential
- Full NSW Driver License
- National Police Check, Working with Children Check and right to work in Australia
