About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our Newcastle team, based at our Head Office in Mayfield West, NSW.
This hands-on-role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced setting, takes pride in maintaining an organised, safe and clean warehouse, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the day to day operations of our warehouse and dispatch functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing of orders
- Receiving, receipting and dispatching of goods
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Ensuring all products and parts are presented to a high standard
- Conducting regular stock counts and inventory checks
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping standards
- Ensuring warehouse storage areas are secure, tidy and well organised
- General warehouse duties
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a Warehouse or Storeperson role
- Current Forklift licence (LF)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a rapid-paced environment
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Basic computer skills
