- Personal Care & ADLs: Assisting clients with their Activities of Daily Living, including showering, toileting, and pad changes.
- Complex Care: PEG and Catheter care, wound care, medication assistance, manual handling and bowel care.
- Safety & Compliance: Meeting the safety needs of the client, using equipment properly, and practising safely within your scope of knowledge.
- Care Plan Execution: Following the customised care plan outlined by the Care Designer.
What You Can Bring
To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about making a difference! Because our clients rely on us to help them start their day, we require flexible availability.
You will also need:
- Qualifications:
Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar, including nursing students).
- Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain before commencing).
- Screening: NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Transport: A current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Sleepover shifts and active night shifts are available too
- Minimum Commitment: Availability for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week and be reliability our clients rely on us.
- Work Rights: Any valid Australian work rights are acceptable for this position.
