Summary

Our Lady's College, Annerley is seeking multiple Sports Assistants to join its dynamic school community. Working under the supervision and guidance of a Sports Coach,



Sports Assistants play a key role in supporting school sporting teams and squads, helping students develop their skills, teamwork, and passion for sport.

- Location: Our Lady's College, Annerley
- Work hours: Casual (Hours may vary from week to week)
- Salary: School Officer Level 2 (Casual rate) - $40.63/hr+ super
- Status: Casual

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with equipment and the preparations for, and conducting of, training sessions and/or sporting events
- Supporting students with a diverse range of abilities and learning needs
- Ensuring the condition of resources and materials are clean and safe to use and arrange the repair or replacement for any damaged item
- Generally, supervising small groups in their chosen sport
- Coaching on rules, tactics and expectations within the sport
- Encouraging camaraderie and sportsmanship amongst players.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

- No formal qualification is required; however a strong track record in the revelant sport and relevant coaching experience will be highly regarded

For this position you are not required to be Catholic

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements

- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
- Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence, if required.
