Swimming Pool Officer – Temporary, Full‑time – Hurstville, New South Wales.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of swimming pools to ensure adherence to the Swimming Pools Act 1992, associated Regulations, and standards.
- Enforce legislative requirements and deliver certification and compliance services.
- Implement Council’s Swimming Pool Inspection Program.
- Promote awareness and provide professional advice on swimming pool safety standards among residents and stakeholders.
What We Offer
- Temporary, Full‑Time – 70 hours per fortnight (12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension)
- Salary from $97,312.49–$112,750.82 per annum plus 12% superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

Qualifications
- At least 12 months experience as a Building Surveyor/Swimming Pool Inspector or similar role.
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and/or Swimming Pool Certification.
- A thorough understanding of the Swimming Pools Act 1992.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Solid problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and negotiation skills.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
