The Opportunity:

Hunter Current England Local Health District is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to support medical coverage at a regional hospital.

This role is suited to a registrar with recent General Medicine experience who is confident with ward-based care, patient reviews, documentation and escalation when required.

Clinical Environment:

General Medicine Registrar role within a regional hospital setting

Ward-based medical coverage with senior escalation pathways available

Day shifts with no on-call requirements

Supportive team environment

Key Duties:

Review and manage General Medicine patients

Support ward-based care and management planning

Complete documentation and handover

Escalate patient concerns appropriately





Work collaboratively with the wider hospital team

Eligibility Criteria:

Current AHPRA Registration

Recent General Medicine registrar-level experience

Strong communication and clinical documentation skills

Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
