Our Physiotherapy team holds many decades of combined experience across complex paediatric and adult caseloads, much of it developed after choosing to leave major metropolitan hospitals for the quality of life and community connection that the north west offers. You will be directly supported by our Senior Physios, if you have an interest in paediatrics this is an unmatched opportunity for high-touch mentoring from a clinician whose paediatric specialisation is near unique in the north west.

What this role actually looks like

From day one your caseload will be mixed – adult and paediatrics across private, NDIS and industry contract clients. You will work as part of a genuine multi-disciplinary team where long-term teammates work together under one roof and collaborate on real outcomes for families.

You won't be thrown in the deep end. Your targets will be graduated across your first six months, providing you room to build confidence and establish client relationships without the pressure of a full caseload.

Clinical supervision is structured, not aspirational;

- Fortnightly internal supervision with your Senior Physiotherapy mentor
- Regular external specialist supervision, funded by us
- 3mth and 6mth formal check-ins and review

Who we are looking for New graduates and early career physiotherapists are encouraged to apply. You will bring;

- AHPRA registration (or eligibility by start date) and valid, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- An interest in paediatric practice, or genuine openness to developing one
- A team player with reliability and follow-through, we're a tight knit team who rely on each other

Desirable but not essential: Paediatric or mixed caseload placement experience, NDIS exposure, connection to the community of north west Tasmania

North West Therapy Services is a multi-disciplinary allied health clinic based in Devonport, serving families right across the north-west region. We provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology across a variety of funding streams.
