Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 3, 2026 (July)
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Subject Areas / Year Levels: Health and Physical Education, Years 7-12
- Note: This position is open to female applicants only
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification.
POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Health and Physical Education lessons across Years 7-12 aligned to the Victorian Curriculum
- Foster active lifestyles, teamwork and student wellbeing through quality HPE programs in a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment
- Create a respectful and supportive learning environment that reflects the values and expectations of the school community
- Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college requirements
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on HPE curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
- Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral care and co-curricular engagement
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
