Deep Speak is a trauma-focused private practice supporting adolescents and adults aged 15 years and above. Trauma treatment sits at the heart of what we do. Our team is trauma-informed, trauma-skilled, and passionate about helping clients create meaningful and lasting change through evidence-based therapy.

We have a particular interest in EMDR and work with a broad range of presentations including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, workplace injuries, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking Psychologists or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers who are passionate about helping people create meaningful change. You will be someone who:

- Delivers high-quality, client-centered therapy




- Lives in Townsville and can offer face-to-face sessions at our clinic and/or is available to deliver sessions via Telehealth (please note however that most of our referrals prefer in person sessions)
- Enjoys working autonomously while remaining connected to a team

- Builds strong therapeutic relationships
- Is motivated to grow and maintain a thriving caseload
- Values professional development and evidence-based practice
- Has an interest in trauma work and EMDR, or is keen to develop these skills

Essential Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker status through the AASW
- Medicare provider eligibility
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Strong assessment, formulation and risk management skills
- Australian working rights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
