The Research Fellow will be part of the Centre for Big Data Research in Health, contributing to research aimed at enhancing the prevention and management of adverse events in hospitalized patients through advanced data science methodologies. What you’ll do

- - Conduct innovative research focused on data science applications in healthcare.
- - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and interpret complex health data.

Requirements

- - A PhD in a relevant field such as data science, health informatics, or a related discipline.




- - At least 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in a related area.
- - Proven expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- - Strong programming skills in languages such as R or Python.
- - Excellent communication skills for presenting research findings.

- - Experience with machine learning techniques and their applications in health research.
- - Familiarity with healthcare systems and clinical data.

Practical notes

This is a fixed-term position until December 31, 2028. The salary ranges from $133,065 to $156,864 per year, depending on experience, with an additional 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
