Senior Geologist/Business Development Director

Magnetite Mining Group (MMG) is a Western Australian-based resources company with a growing international footprint in the supply of premium iron ore and magnetite products. We specialise in extraction, beneficiation, and export, delivering sustainable, high-performance supply solutions to global trading partners across Asia, Europe, and North America.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist - Business Development Director (International Mining & Commodities) to support the growth of Magnetite Mining Group's global mining and commodity portfolio.

Combining technical geological expertise with commercial acumen, the successful candidate will represent MMG's international mining interests across Mexico, Peru and the Middle East, building strategic partnerships and driving global sales of iron ore and rare earth products throughout Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent Magnetite Mining Group's mining operations and resource interests across Mexico, Peru, the Middle East and other international markets.
- Develop and grow international sales opportunities for iron ore, magnetite, rare earths and strategic minerals across China, India, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East and North America.
- Build and maintain relationships with commodity traders, steel producers, refiners, smelters, industrial buyers and strategic partners globally.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, offtake agreements and long‑term supply contracts with international customers.




- Utilise geological and mining expertise to confidently represent MMG's products, operations and resource capabilities to prospective customers and investors.
- Identify new markets, customers and distribution channels to support the expansion of MMG's global sales footprint.
- Represent MMG at international mining conferences, trade exhibitions, customer meetings and industry events to promote the company's products and commercial interests.

What We're Looking For

- Degree-qualified Geologist, Mining Engineer, Metallurgist or similar resource-sector skilled.
- Experience in exploration, grade control, mine geology or mining operations with strong commercial exposure.
- Proven ability to develop customer relationships and deliver business development or sales outcomes within the mining or commodities sector.
- Strong understanding of iron ore, magnetite, rare earths and international commodity markets.
- Ability to translate technical mining concepts into commercial value propositions for customers and investors.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally and represent MMG across global mining and commodity markets.
