What started as a small venture, growing quality plants for our affiliated landscaping businesses, has steadily expanded into a thriving wholesale nursery supplying many of Melbourne's leading landscape companies.

Today, we're entering an exciting new chapter with the growth of our retail nursery, combining our reputation for exceptional plant quality with knowledgeable customer service. Our focus is on producing and sourcing premium trees, shrubs and perennials for discerning homeowners, landscape professionals and commercial clients.

The Opportunity

With the continued expansion of our nursery operations, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Hand to join our team. This is a hands-on role combining plant care, nursery production, and customer-facing sales across both retail and commercial clients.

You’ll be part of a small, knowledgeable team in a well-run, quality-focused environment where standards matter.

Working hours are typically Tuesday to Saturday during peak seasons (Autumn to Spring),



and Monday to Friday through quieter winter periods.

Key Responsibilities

Provide knowledgeable and friendly service to retail and trade customers

Manage plant sales, orders, and customer enquiries

Maintain nursery presentation to a high standard

Potting up and growing-on plant stock

Pruning, staking, and maintaining trees and advanced stock

Assist with propagation and stock production

Watering and irrigation management

Loading and unloading plant stock and materials

General nursery maintenance including weeding and plant health care

Follow safe work practices and contribute to a positive team environment

About You

Proven experience in a retail nursery environment (essential)

Nursery Sales experience - Confident dealing with both retail customers and industry professionals

Strong plant knowledge and a genuine passion for horticulture

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

High attention to detail and pride in your work

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Current driver’s licence (MR or HR license highly valued)

Horticultural qualification (preferred but not essential)

Chemical handling certificate (desirable)
