Due to continued growth within Pallas Capital, we are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Loan Management Officer to join our Credit & Loan Management team in either Sydney or Brisbane .

Supporting the ongoing management of Pallas Capital's commercial real estate loan portfolio, this hands‑on role is suited to someone with strong attention to detail, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to engage with borrowers, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure loans are actively managed in line with Pallas Capital's risk appetite.

The successful candidate will be required to work from the office five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the lifecycle of a portfolio of Commercial Real Estate loans from settlement through to repayment
- Proactively engage with borrowers and brokers to obtain and manage overdue reporting items
- Oversee upcoming loan maturities in conjunction with Origination and Credit teams to process approved short and long‑term loan extensions
- Review loan covenants and conditions in conjunction with the Credit team
- Assist Senior Credit Managers and the Asset Management team with risk mitigation strategies




- Contribute to portfolio management meetings, including scheduled reporting and ad‑hoc updates on individual loans
- Ensure the loan management system is maintained with accurate notes and reporting.
- Identify and elevate risk items as required
- Support compliance with Pallas Capital’s Credit, Lending and Risk policies and procedures

About You

- 2–5 years’ experience in credit analysis, portfolio/loan management and/or loan administration
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, business or a property‑related discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial real estate and/or commercial lending, with CRE lending experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to obtain information and drive outcomes with external parties
- Excellent attention to detail and an eagerness to learn
- Ability to own tasks and work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative working style, with strong integrity, sound judgement and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work
