The Role
You will join a fun, hardworking, and energetic housekeeping team who are responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, employee uniforms, and guest items are in good repair.
Day to Day
- To provide a professional and courteous service at all times.
- To count and check that Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry Cleaning docket.
- To liaise with Laundry Service Provider regarding Laundry and Dry Cleaning procedures.
- To efficiently use washing machines and dryers to launder guest items and staff uniforms.
- To perform handwashing of delicate or specialty items when necessary, ensuring careful handling and proper cleaning.
- To allocate uniforms to new employees and inspect all uniforms to ensure they are maintained in good repair.
- To inspect all uniforms to ensure they are in good order and are maintained in good repair, ensuring hems, zippers, buttons and any other repairs are attended to.
Qualifications
- A positive understanding of English so that you can communicate with each other and our guests.
- No issues with bending, lifting, and walking for long periods.
- Be flexible enough to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
