Position Information

Orana Heights Public School is situated in east Dubbo, on Wiradjuri country, with an enrolment of approximately 620 students. This includes 40% Aboriginal students and 18% EAL/D students. The school has four support classes. Orana Heights Public School is committed to excellence in academic and practical education in a safe, friendly and caring setting emphasising personal growth, positive interactions and support between students, staff and community. Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach K-6, with demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality explicit teaching and differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students and improve learning outcomes.
- Evidence of exemplary classroom practice,



including the effective use of assessment and data analysis tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive, engaging learning environments and collaborate with students, staff, and parents, including implementing culturally responsive practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and EAL/D students.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching chance.
